SCRAP is a pre-loved clothing/textile collection company with a mission to Look cool, Save the Planet, and Donate Old Clothing. Serving as an antidote to the disease – aka. environmentally harmful fast fashion brands – and their carelessness and overproduction of textiles.

The mission of the brand is to create a place where companies and individuals can donate excess materials. Repurposing clothing can create new designs and textiles, cut C02 emissions, and stop chemicals from contaminating local water systems.

Look cool, save the planet, donate your old clothing.

THE PURSUIT OF LESS

ZINE

The Pursuit of Less is an analog zine created to educate readers about the negative effects the production and consumption of fast fashion has on our environment.

I created this zine by hand-making physical collages for each spread using a mix of images, text, and fabric. Once assembled, I scanned the pages using a Xerox machine —a deliberate choice that aligns with the raw, edgy collage aesthetic of Scraps’ visual identity. This DIY production method not only reinforces the tactile, imperfect feel of the brand, but also generates 90% less waste compared to traditional printing and significantly reduces production costs.

DISPLAY ADVERTISMENTS

I designed a series of three targeted display ads for Google and Instagram, each addressing a key issue within the fast fashion industry: overconsumption, sustainable purchasing, and textile donation. Visually bold and conceptually sharp, these ads were created to interrupt the scroll, spark awareness, and drive engagement. The goal was to inform users about the environmental impact of fast fashion while encouraging actionable steps—whether it’s rethinking buying habits, making more conscious purchases, or contributing to circularity through donations.

DONATION BINS

I designed an in-store clothing and textile donation bin for retail spaces partnering with Scrap.

The bin serves as a branded, accessible drop-off point for customers to donate used garments and fabric. Collected materials are then repurposed or recycled into new clothing or textiles, supporting a circular approach to fashion and reducing landfill waste.

The design balances functionality with visual impact, encouraging participation while aligning with Scrap’s sustainability mission.
